There have been some heavy, wintry showers to East of the forecast area across Norfolk, feeding South into Suffolk. Bright spells continue across the forecast area through the remainder of the morning into/through the afternoon but there is a risk of some showers, which could be heavy, making inroads across the forecast area, particularly to the East of the area. Any heavier showers have the potential to contain hail. Temperatures peaking at 9°C or 10°C, so a few degrees below the late April average max of around 14.5°C

EVENING & OVERNIGHT:

Risk of some showers stil exist into/through the early evening, but these will soon melt away to allow largely clear skies through the evening and through the early hours. Perhaps turning a liitle cloudier towards/soon after dawn, particularly to the N/NE of the forecast area. Temperatures falling steadily through the evening under the clear skies, close to or a degree or so below freezing. Perhaps starting to rise towards/soon after dawn.

WIND:

Breezy at first, decreasing through the period. Mainly from the NNW initially backing WNW/W through the early hours

OUTLOOK FOR THURSDAY

Perhaps a dry start across the forecast area, but cloud and showery rain expected to soon spread across the area through the morning and looks set to be the theme into the afternoon. Perhaps drier late afternoon/early evening. Temperatures peaking at 10°C or 11°C

ULTRA VIOLET
MODERATE 3

WIND:

A tad breezy in places with gust potential to 20mph and generally from the W, veering WNW/NW through the day.
